About Pipeline Segment 1

Segment 1 of the pipeline is located between Interstate 5 and Highway 99. After leaving the water intake facility, the pipeline crosses under Interstate 5 and continues through the future extension of Cosumnes River Boulevard to Franklin Boulevard. At Franklin Boulevard, the alignment follows the existing Cosumnes River Boulevard to Bruceville Road. It heads north on Bruceville Road and east on Timberlake Way and crosses under Highway 99. The pipeline emerges east of Highway 99 at East Stockton Blvd. This section of the pipeline is approximately 5 miles long.

Current Activities

Install 84-inch pipeline on Bruceville Rd., between Timberlake Way and Cosumnes River Blvd.

Traffic Controls: Southbound Bruceville Road is reduced to one travel lane between Timberlake Way and Cosumnes River Blvd.
