About Pipeline Segment 4

At the intersection of Gerber and Vineyard Roads, the pipeline will bifurcate, or split, in two branches. One branch (Segment 4) will head approximately one mile north of Vineyard Road to the future SCWA surface water treatment plant, located at Florin and Knox Roads. This portion of the pipe will be 66 inches in diameter and transport up to 85 million gallons of water daily. After treatment, the water will be distributed to customers in SCWA’s service area in central Sacramento County.
