About Middle Reach Pipeline

The pipeline includes construction of approximately 36,450 feet of 72-inch diameter mortar lined and dielectric coated (ML&DCS) steel pipe.

Current Activities

Traffic delays on Hwy. 88, south of Liberty Rd.
From Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 16, pipeline construction work will occur across Hwy. 88, south of Liberty Rd. in Clements, CA. Eastbound and westbound traffic will be restricted to the use of one lane on Hwy. 88 during the hours of 5 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday. Motorists should anticipate traffic delays of up to 20 minutes. Flagmen will be posted at both ends of the construction zone. Please be aware of all posted speed limits and traffic signs.
Install fencing along Liberty Rd from Hwy. 88 to Jack Tone Rd
Install temporary construction easement and environmental fencing on private property running along Liberty Road from Hwy. 88 to Jack Tone Rd. No traffic impacts
Install 72-inch pipe from Mokelumne River to Hwy. 88
Traffic along Buena Vista Road is currently subject to short delays.
Construction activity along Buena Vista, Liberty, Elliot and Clay Station Roads
There will be construction activity along Buena Vista, Liberty, Elliot and Clay Station Roads from Highway 88 to the end of Buena Vista Road throughout the duration of the project, which is anticipated for the next 14 months.
