Contractor: Steve P. Rados Inc.

Segment 1 runs between Interstate 5 and Highway 99 in Sacramento. Starting at the water intake facility, the alignment crosses under I-5 and proceeds east along the planned extension of Cosumnes River Boulevard to Franklin Boulevard. This 72-inch diameter pipeline can deliver up to 100 million gallons per day (MGD) to EBMUD during dry years. Water is discharged into the Folsom South Canal and pumped to EBMUD’s Mokelumne Aqueducts in San Joaquin County for a 90-mile journey to customers.

Pipeline Segment 4

Contractor: Steve P. Rados Inc.

Segment 4 runs approximately one mile north from Gerber and Vineyard Roads to the Sacramento County Water Agency’s Vineyard Surface Water Treatment Plant at Florin and Knox Roads. This 66-inch diameter pipeline can convey up to 85 MGD. Treated water is then distributed to SCWA customers in central Sacramento County.
